Our Credibility

Cofficient Consulting Team

The Cofficient consulting team comes from a diverse set of backgrounds that complement one another.  With a generation of age between each consultant they bring a unique combined perspective.  Obviously, any consultancy we engage in provides value, but when a consultancy client also uses our back-office we are able to do an even better job with faster implementation and better follow up.

Ken Lipschitz - Executive Director and CEO -

Ken is CEO of Cofficient Pty Ltd. He is involved in the daily operations of Cofficient, and assumes responsibility for the supervision of the accounting function. He was formerly CEO of Electronic Trading Concepts Pty Ltd, providers of consultant, advisory and professional services, recently sold as part of an IPO plan. He is a former Director of David Jones and a Group V-P of Household International in Australia and Canada.

David Solomon - Consultant

David assumes responsibility for the development of cost reduction and business improvement practices in client businesses. In the early 90’s David worked in recruitment and the then emerging outsourced human resources field.  He migrated into small business consulting where he has mentored many start-up and early stage companies, as well as coached small business owners and directors on a wide variety of matters.  During this time he has seen many small business issues and successes.  David’s experience in people issues, financial turn-around, processes and systems, sales and marketing and capital raising is second to none.

Andrew Ward - Consultant

Andrew or “Wardy” as he is widely known fits the stereotype of the 'entrepreneur'.  An idealist that left university without a degree, he pursued his first 'pot-of-gold' and turned it into a 'dot bomb'.  This event at 21 years of age lost all his savings. So with nothing but debts and his 2 hands, he went on to found the very successful 3 Minute Angels business in 2002.  He now spends his time between Cofficient and his four other ventures, all of which use Cofficient as their outsourced finance and administration back office.

Lawyers

Cofficient contracts and legal structures have been developed by Deacons. With over 150 partners, special counsel, consultants and directors nationwide, Deacons is Australia's leading Asian and international law firm. http://www.deacons.com.au/

Processes

Cofficient is expert in business processes having already tailored over 100 back office solutions for clients.

Internally we use a custom scheduling software that provides clients with an easy way to give us instructions (regular, calendarised or ad-hoc).  Once in receipt of the instruction(s) via the website (or phonecall, IM, email etc.) the 'ticket' is actioned by the appropriate specialist within the 'pod'.  Once the action is taken, the accounting package (MYOB, QuickBooks etc.) is automatically updated.  Furthermore the 'down-the-line' processes are engaged and trigger more tickets for each specialist within the 'pod'.  More...

Partners

Cofficient works with a range of partners depending on what is required for the client.  We have agreements with multinational companies, publicly listed companies and private companies.  In essence we will seek out and partner with the right company to assist our clients.

Clients

We pride ourselves on confidentiality of client information, after all we need to maintain the highest level of professionalism in our business.  We cannot disclose individual clients, but we can tell you we have over 100 small business clients from around the world, but mostly Australia.  Additionally we have a number of individuals and contractors for whom we do the back-office.

Regardless of the client and their business, be they a service provider, medical clinic, retail franchise or online business, all of their back-office requirements are managed and by us using our efficient processes (see above).
